Our Team

We are a small team of professionals sharing the same important life values. Our goal is to approach our clients individually, non-judgementally and to create a friendly, yet professional work environment.

Dr. Anna.

I started Dr. Anna Medical Aesthetics in 2015 to change my life, and empower other women to do so.

Having graduated from medical school 30 years ago, and working for 27 years as an anesthesiologist, I was looking for a change in my daily routine.

Working in acute care medicine, I felt like I was on a never-ending treadmill and with ever increasing speed per hour.

Our five children are all young adults, in University and working, and I felt I had missed so much family time in pursuit of a career I loved, but with a schedule I resented.

I was not alone in feeling this.

Many of my friends in their 40s and 50s were being diagnosed with lymphoma, breast, skin, bowel and thyroid cancers. Driven, “high stress”, professional women, like me.

I wondered what caused this—Genetics? Stress? Environmental? Chemical exposure? Occupational? It became evident that I too was at risk of falling ill—if I didn’t drastically change my lifestyle.

I began to explore the world of preventative medicine, health and wellness, lifestyle and nutrition, medical spas, and aesthetic medicine. I love dermatology and was immediately drawn to skincare. Through my research, I found an alarming number of chemicals and toxic preservatives added to “cosmeceuticals”, and cosmetics, with little regulation.

Using my background in organic and physical chemistry, I decided to do something about it!

I’ve met thousands of women who want to invest in themselves, just as I have, and I’m passionate about providing options for them to do so including stress management, nutritional support, skin health, and aesthetic medicine.

We started a skincare company Cielo Products to develop a line of nontoxic, medical-grade, skincare that is challenging industry standards. Our products are transparent, simple, effective, and 100% safe for the consumer and our planet.

I encourage you to visit me at my Fort Street clinic to discuss how we can support your journey.

Warm wishes,

Dr. Anna
